This is a well-attended event and we send a cordial invitation to all Chinook owners to bring their Chinooks back “home” to their roots. If the weather cooperates, snow and temperature we have seen as many as 400-500 people attend this event. We need enough teams to give rides to children on two groomed loops. Even if your Chinook has never pulled before come to the event and give it a try!
We also need a few ambassadors to stay in the main exhibit area and talk to visitors about the Chinook breed and meet your dogs.
The suggested main stay is the Tamworth Inn across the street from the Remick museum, call 1-800-642-7352 for reservations.
The Lazy Dog Inn also will allow you to bring your Chinooks and they are a few minutes away. Call (603) 323-8350 for reservations.
If you prefer a cottage setting contact Sunnybrook cottages at (603) 447-3922.
So, please, join us for the weekend or join us for the day on Saturday February 9th and take a “Trip back in Time” with your Chinooks and your family.
